Every second, the management unit of the Tigo Energy Module Maximizer receives performance data from the Tigo Energy Module Maximizer. The software developed by Tigo Energy provides sophisticated web-based analytics to identify abnormalities, deterioration trends, and problems that often affect modules or systems. With the Tigo Energy Maximizer software package, a solar project may operate at top efficiency for the duration of its life. Each system's components may be understood to help with rapid and effective maintenance. In addition to lowering operating and maintenance (O&M) expenses, on-demand maintenance reports maintenance staff travels to trouble spots. Safety enhancement

Through its PV-Safe TM technology, which has a patent application pending, the Tigo Energy Maximizer solution improves the safety of the array. The PV-Safe mode disables the system at the module level when it is engaged by eliminating excessive voltages for response or maintenance staff. By pushing the PV-Safe button on the Maximizer management unit, this may be started from the management software or in the field. The interruption of an AC circuit breaker by an emergency responder also activates this device automatically. An additional optional anti-theft feature of the Maximizer solution warns the system owner if the module is abruptly detached from the system at night.
